A hullabaloo has been raised about the green deal Scheme like UPVC windows and its advantages. But the question is who exactly is likely to benefit from the highly touted Green Deal Scheme. The long and short of it is that the Green Deal Scheme is not for everyone or at least it has a criterion that will sieve those individuals who are potential candidates to the program and those that will be locked out for falling short on some metric. Specifically the Green Deal Scheme targets households and small businesses where it makes economic sense to invest in alternative sources of energy or for want of a better word cheaper forms of energy.
The rule of thumb is that the expected saving from the initiative a household or a business is likely to benefit from this scheme must be equal to or greater than the cost of the initial measure. Households that fall afoul of this rule will basically have to remain with their current sources of energy as the state seeks to supplement their energy in other ways. Therein lays the answer, its in for mid income homes and Businesses and those homes/ businesses that do not measure up have to commute this saving in some other way.
