UPVC windows when you build a house or anything that the way that you design the energy usage is completely different and yet very wonderful. For example in the house for ambient lighting, rather than turning a switch on and turning a bunch of lights on, we’ll be able to turn the switch on but we’ll have LED lights that come on for the ambient room lighting.

Ann: Virtually no power. They’ll probably run on 24 volt. We’re going to have two systems in the home. A 110 system, AC, and a 24 volt DC. We’ll use whatever is the most efficient. Our appliances will probably be 24 volt. We’re still going to have a washing machine and that’s going to be 110 but it’s a very energy efficient appliance.
